An Italian crew member's family contacted vessel's captain to report he has not been in contact with them for a while. They were told the man was not responsive and was in what appeared to be a psychotic distress. He became violent towards other crew members and had to be mobilised to his bed and later transferred to a hospital in Italy. An investigation in under way.
