Bulk carriers MIRABELLA and OMEGA were involved in a collision around 15 nautical miles off the Yangtze River Estuary. There were no reports of injuries. Both vessels sustained serious damages. MIRABELLA was partly flooded but managed to anchor in safe waters. She was en route from Tuticorin, India, to Taicang, China.
