General cargo ship Saga Faith (IMO 9808651) had to divert to Montevideo, Uruguay while under way in Rio de la Plata during the morning of April 26th after a crew member passed out due to breathing problems. The MRCC Uruguay informed the Navy and a patrol boat approached the ship with paramedics on board, but unfortunately they were unable to resuscitate him and the 38-year old Indian national died. The ship had sailed from Sao Fransisco du Sul Brazil on April 23rd and was bound for Nueva Plamira. As of April 27th the vessel was at anchor off Montevideo.
