14-Aug-23 : The 3,270-dwt Sukru Okan (built 1989) was said to have been fired upon after Russia said the ship’s captain failed to respond to a request to halt for an inspection.
Reports said Russian military personnel then boarded the Palau-flagged vessel with the help of a Ka-29 helicopter.
02-Aug-2017 : Had engine failure off Turkeli 31 Jul 2017. Repairs could not be carried out by crew. Taken in tow 02 Aug, ar Tuzla same day. Subsequently ar Istanbul Anch 16 Aug & sd 17 Aug.
