System: 13 - Propulsion And Auxiliary Machinery Sub-system: N/a - No Subsystem Cause: Invalid Description Of Deficiency: The Condition Of The Ship And Its Equipment Shall Be Maintained To Conform With The Provisions Of The Present Regulations To Ensure That The Ship In All Respects Will Remain Fit To Proceed To Sea Without Danger To The Ship Or Persons On Board. The Pilot Reported That While Heading In Bound Delaware Bay, De, The Vessel Experienced A Loss Of Propulsion After The Ship's Main Engine Tripped Off-line Due To A Leak In The Engine's Jacket Water System. Prior To Departure, A Causal Analysis Must Be Conducted And Proper Repairs Completed, If Needed.
